It's the halfway mark in National Novel Writing Month ( [link] )! Fellow dA-ers making the journey with me this year include Az(ie) , soul sister, off-season collaborator, and fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and Danny Phantom; If-Only-in-a-Dream , classmate, budding photographer, soon-to-be-birthday girl, and 1st time NaNo-er who might just make the goal this year; and Nullin , also a first-year NaNo-er but who doesn't know what to do with his dA account (ask him to please post some Generon and the novel he's working on.) We're all reaching for 25k words now - wish us luck in our endeavors until the end of the month!


Along with my NaNoWriMo work-in-progress novel, Nineteen Travels, which will also be incorporating in a 100-theme challenge from Short Stack Stories ( ), I'm still engaged in a few collaborations of sorts with some other dA friends.

has given me permission to use her character Taz in a story. He will make an eventual appearance in Nineteen Travels.

is also letting me pick and choose as much artwork from her gallery as I want to write stories to. My choices: Talaiot Little Girl, The Green Lion, sOMiant, Not Afraid, Le Sorciere, The Little Princess and Isis, and possibly Wicked Storm.

In part of an exchange with , I am using pieces from his Helpful Advice series for a funny short story. Still planning out this one.

And and I are always collaborating on something. I'm hoping that one day we'll once again be fully engaged in an RP.

I also may start working on two solo projects, the nonfiction Very Short Memoirs of an Obsessive Girl, and its fictional, more humorous counterpart, MIHA (Madam, I HATE Adam!) which, who knows, may end up being the musical/screenplay I write if I decide to participate in Script Frenzy this April.
